HEDP or Hydroxyethylidene Diphosphonic Acid serves as an organo phosphonate compound having multifunctional properties such as deflocculation, sequestration, and super threshold inhibition as a single active ingredient. HEDP are available in salts of sodium compounds such as HEDP 2Na (Hydroxyethylidene Diphosphonic Acid - Disodium salt), HEDP 4Na (Hydroxyethylidene Diphosphonic Acid - Tetra sodium salt) etc.
